Readers decide quickly. If your genre signal is weak, attention leaks before your sample does any work.

A launch ask is not the same as a long-tail visibility ask. Treating them the same leads to messy outreach and weak response.
3. You need one clean next step
Sometimes the goal is sales. Sometimes it’s blurbs, reviews, or retailer polish. Pick one primary outcome first. A campaign trying to do everything usually does nothing clearly.
